MRI of Bone Survey

Bone survey MRI scan is usually done to evaluate the extent of metastatic cancer.  The scans usually cover from the top of the skull to just below the knee.  The scans are performed in 3 sections (but 4 sections when using the Siemens Sonata MRI scanner due to restriction in the FOV), TOP, MID and LOWER body.
